Today BPO is considered to be the core IT service. Particularly fast growing in India. Both voice and non-voice processes are looking for Indian companies and freelancers from different parts of the globe. Chiefly, the US, Canada, UK, and North-West European companies are expanding their business process outsourced to India on a large scale. We know several companies that enjoyed an accelerating growth. There are also examples of many which lost track and are non-existent today. I would like to discuss a few important quality features of a successful BPO company.

Be steady with your commitment:

It is necessary to be strong enough to fulfill your commitment to your client. For example, if you have committed to deliver the BPO projects within a target, do it by any means. If you need to make additional arrangements or extra costs never step back. Remember, this is a client service industry and client satisfaction is the ultimate goal. The same goes for your employees too.

Perfection is the key:

BPO outsourcing projects must be done with 100% perfection. Sometimes clients may consider 2% mistakes as human error. Try to deliver a project with 100% perfection by assigning it to the appropriate associate or team. It is necessary to understand the parameters of the client – what exactly he/she wants to produce. A trustworthy company never delivers a project without rechecking, leaving no chance for any glitch.

Time Management is important:

A perfect calculation of time is necessary to furnish the project. The back-calculation of the demo and parameters gives the exact idea of how many heads and hours will be required. In addition, a company with an intelligent process head also adds some additional time for checking, a technical glitch or sudden unwanted lack of resources.

Manpower, the best resource:

You have to create your resource team very intelligently. According to the project’s requirement choose an experienced technically sound person. A loyal person with the utmost skill, without discipline and the right attitude, may kill your work culture. Make the right decision regarding whom to keep with a hike and whom to let go. Take strict actions regarding unwanted situations or offensive employee activities.

Infrastructure matters:

Infrastructure matters for maximum productivity. The working space, computers and associated gadgets, internet connections, sitting arrangements, refreshment arrangements – all make for good infrastructure. Let your employees be working under a cool, peaceful, dependable and healthy environment. To get the maximum output from your employees make sure, they are happy with the working environment/ infrastructure.

Recreation is a good booster:

Recreation in between heavy job schedule matters a lot to boost up in work. A few weekend or post-shift sessions. Like, a joint trip, a picnic, cultural activities, entertainment and skill development sessions, indoor games, not only creates a good recreation for your staff but also creates a good bond among each other.

Salaries and incentives:

A good pay-scale, at least a competitive scale keeps your company going well with employee satisfaction. Good fame in the circuit. Additional incentives are lucrative options where employees love to work for as most of the manpower in this industry is at a very tender age. A good pay-out confirms a better working force which leads to a higher profit margin.

A good marketing team:

Good marketing is the best instrument for high volume business. The business development team that has cordial relationships and strong communication with existing clients will lead to business growth. Upgrade your digital marketing strategies having strong SEO, content management. Marketing experts take care of large-scale online promotions in common and popular forums. If your brand is well advertised in your prospected client base, you will gain business automatically.

Making a business strategy for the long run:

If you want to grow big, start by implementing your business strategy in the long run. Short-run strategies are important but future growth, long-run strategies are the way. Remember, like other businesses, there may be a lean period here too. Never cut down your budgets short for this. Be consistent with your current activities, and have a clear image of the market scenario. Use diversified skills for diversified projects.

Be transparent:

Never let anyone point his/her fingers at you. All your official papers, documentation, taxes, and duties, licenses and agreements, financial deals should be clear enough for no further questioning. Any illegal or corruptive methods to earn more, may harm your goodwill in the market. Have complete project transparency when admitting to your clients. These things allow you to do fair business with fair people and lead to business growth and a bigger brand in the market.

There may be so many other things that we consider for business growth in the BPO sector which a few important things I had tried to summarize. I hope, this will work as a quick remembrance of your all-known factors as a BPO entrepreneur.
